The true teachings of Christ explained by my teacher Ted Nottingham. Understanding the critical teaching of Christ: “Unless a seed falls into the ground and dies…”
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us all, because we are sinners. We proclaim your name with our lips, but negate you with our stony hearts and our inner darkness. May you enlighten our Souls and guide us to the Way of Light and Goodness, make us to an mirror of your divinity. We are poor beggars before you. Please, make us to an instrument of thy peace and your infinite compassion. Give us your vision, in order to see in everyone a reflection of your presence, even the least, or maybe especially in them. Please, make us to a window for your kingdom, a channel for your melody, and transform us really and truly into the Body of Christ on earth.
Help us to enlighten and awaken the heart of humanity, because there is a higher destiny and calling for everyone. Have mercy on us. We are sinners, but you can transform us into saints. We are selfish, but you can transform us into holiness. We are full of ignorance, but you can open our vision. We are full of fear, anger and resentment, but you can change our mind and give us a new heart and a new life, eternal life, the fullness of life. Help us to see with your eyes, hear with your ears, speak with your mouth. We are beggars before you, but you have created us in your image and likeness. Every child is a Child of God and we are all brothers and sisters, totally interconnected with all of creation through your Spirit. Let us flow with the energy of your Divine Grace and let us see with the Vision of your Oneness. We are beggars before you, but you have given us the crown of your Kingdom, while we have done nothing to earn or deserve it. Our little lives are like waves on the ocean of your infinity: have mercy on us, have mercy on us, have mercy on us.
The truth is, that we are totally in your hands, dependent on your blessings, and we can do nothing without you. Our heart couldn’t beat without your allowance. Let it beat healthily and happily in alignment with the heavenly realms and send us your angels and your Holy Spirit to guard and guide us in all ways and always, in this life and the next. Lord, make us to an instrument of your light, a city of hope on the hills who cannot be hidden and a song of joy, a winning team of companions, victorious over death and the darkness of the world. Give us the wisdom and the power to transform everything into a source of life and give us a thankful and joy-filled heart, even in the midst of grief and despair, show us the way of your all-embracing limitless joy, the Joy of the Lord. „Do not be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!“

“The way of Jesus cannot be imposed or mapped — it requires an active participation in following Jesus as he leads us through sometimes strange and unfamiliar territory, in circumstances that become clear only in the hesitations and questionings, in the pauses and reflections where we engage in prayerful conversation with one another and with him.”
~ Eugene H. Peterson, The Jesus Way
O God, we are one with you.
You have made us one with you.
You have taught us that if we are open to one another, you dwell in us.
Help us to preserve this openness and to fight for it with all our hearts.
Help us to realize that there can be no understanding where there is mutual rejection.
O God, in accepting one another wholeheartedly, fully, completely, we accept you, and we thank you, and we adore you, and we love you with our whole being, because our being is your being, our spirit is rooted in your spirit.
Fill us then with love, and let us be bound together with love as we go our diverse ways, united in this one spirit which makes you present in the world, and which makes you witness to the ultimate reality that is love.
Love has overcome. Love is victorious.
