Hello friends. Now is the 23rd of December. This is not any day. The Christmas season is much more than materialism could ever give us: an initiation into the greatest of all mysterys, the mystery of the mysteries of the mysteries, the mystery of the incarnation of Spirit in human flesh. This is not just about Jesus Christ. This is about you and me, the secret of our own existence. The secret of belonging, the mystery of love, the mystery of the human soul in its relationship to creation and its origin. What does Christianity tell us when it points to the Christ child in the crib? The Christian mystic, Angelus Silesius, said, “Christ could be born a thousand times in Bethlehem, but all in vain until He is born in me.” Whoever you are. Wherever you live. No matter what religion you belong to. You are a part of this story because it is the story in the heart of mankind.
We belong to this caravan of love. We are all spiritual beings living this earthly life, incarnations of the Spirit, dwelling places of the Holy, exactly like Christ. The importance of Jesus Christ is, that he has revealed this truth to us. We walk together through time and space for a while, experiencing together the magnificent beauty of life, revealed in the wholeness and fullness of joy and pain, light and darkness, the radical embrace of every experience, every wave in the ocean of the Infinite One Awareness that we share with each other, as the all-embracing Oneness of eternal existance, the Divine Play, the Divine Lovestory, the Divine Life, with this unspeakable desire to express itself through us in the highest possible way. We are all in this together, this mystery beyond words; and you have a role to play that no one can play, only you alone, it is your destiny. You are the free agent of the Creator to play this role! No one can replace you. You are a unique glimpse of the light of life for all eternity. “You are the Light of the world”.
Why do we call Jesus Christ our Lord? Because he has revealed to man the truth of their lives by teaching them that God is not concealed in temples and laws, but in the fragile heartbeat of a child. If you can see the holy presence of God in Jesus the Child you can see it in every child. We do not have to travel to the end of the galaxy, we do not have to split atoms to find truth and we do not have to overlap each other with expensive gifts to find meaning and intimacy: God is the presence of life in the bright eyes of a child, this is the real gift, it is really that simple! We are all like Jesus the Holy Child of God, the Beloved. You are here, you are alive and this, brothers and sisters, is the greatest of all gifts. Christmas is the remembrance of truth in the deepest silence of your being, the awakening to your True Self as God created you, a individual extension and expression of his own Being (that’s good old theology of the Orthodox Christian Faith by the way!)
You’re not here to be perfect. You’re not here to make others happy. You are not here to push yourself into any limited form. You are here to be wholly your own: this unique, unrepeatable expression of the Spirit. Every day can be Christmas, if you choose love instead of fear, if you choose to awake to the sacredness of life and honor it within you and everything else, if you choose to celebrate the magic of this moment, if you choose to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, the Divine in the simplicity of being alive, and if you choose to take the leap of faith that is necessary to be fully who you are and who you can become. Don’t celebrate Christmas. Be Christmas. Know that the Christ is within you as the awake, pure and enlightened Loving Presence – as the Way and the Truth and the Life – and let it be your greatest possible gift to the world. You can be the living proof that Christmas is still alive and more than a fairy tale, you can be the resurrection of its true Spirit and mystical message. It is a reality when you live it. Let your heart be the crib of Christ, the house of his Light, which gives its warm glow to everything and everyone, who comes into your presence.

Colossians 3:1-17The Message (MSG)
He Is Your Life
Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.
